  • We've added the ability to set custom shipping costs for categories, brands, and products. You can set your own costs in the "Shipping Cost" field when editing a product, brand, or category in your website's dashboard. From lowest priority to highest priority, the hierarchy for choosing which shipping cost is applied looks like this category -> brand -> product.
  • We made the checkout process even easier for your customers. The checkout page can now automatically detect a customer's city and state/province based on the postal code that they provide.

New Features

  • You can now add your store's services to your website without having to create custom HTML blocks. To create services, go to Site Content > Services in your website's dashboard. You can add an image, link, heading, and a paragraph of text for each service you offer. Once created, you can add the services to any of your pages by going to Site Content > Page Layouts and assigning the "Services" module to the page of your choice.
  • We added a setting that can be turned on so that searches on your website will also search product descriptions. You can enable this by setting Search Product Descriptions to "Yes" under Store Settings > Settings > Option > Products.
  • We improved the page speed of our templates so that resources load faster, which can help your SEO ranking.

  • We fixed a bug in which assigning a category as a sub-category of itself would crash the browser.
  • Searching for related parts when editing a product should now display a list a products in your system as you type.

New Features

  • We added the ability to set custom options (e.g. size and color) for your products. Product options can be created from your website's dashboard under Products > Options. Once an option has been created, you can assign it to a product under the Options tab when you're editing that product.
  • Manufacturer rebates will now show up under the company information for each brand.
  • You can now receive a monthly report of the 10 most viewed products on your website via email. The monthly product analytics report can be enabled by the Product Analytics drop-down field under Store Settings > Settings > Option. The report will be sent to the email address you've set in the E-Mail field under Store Settings > Settings > General.

  • We fixed an issue with the pagination URLs so now when you go to, say, page two of a product page it should actually take you there.
  • You may have noticed the "contact us" emails coming from you...to you. Now, whenever a customer submits the contact form on your website, the email will actually say it came from them and will contain the information they submitted.
  • We added a limit of five brands that can be uploaded at a time using the product uploader tool since it used to get hung up when uploading too many brands.

New Features

  • You can now unpublish pages by unchecking the "Published" checkbox under Site Content > Pages > Edit Page. Unpublishing a page allows you to hide it from your website without deleting it altogether.
  • We've added a Social tab under Store Settings > Settings where you can add links to your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube accounts. If used, the links will be displayed as social icons in the footer section of your website.
  • You can now rearrange the order of featured products on your website by using the up and down arrows under Products > Featured.

New Features

  • You now have the ability to turn off the "Call for Availability" message that is displayed when you're viewing a product. Here's how it works: if the "Display Stock" option under Store Settings > Settings > Option is set to Yes, when your stock for an item is 0 or 1 it will say "Call for Availability." If it's set to No, nothing will be displayed.
  • We also added support for the Payeezy payment module. You can set this up under E-Commerce > Payments.
  • We integrated the Google Translate plugin so that users who speak French, Spanish, or English can easily read the content on your website.

  • The customer account and shopping cart icons should no longer show up on mobile devices for websites that don't have e-commerce enabled.

Lightning-fast image uploads.

Images should now load a lot faster on your website. We could go into a lot of tech-speak about content-delivery networks, algorithms, and server speeds, but take our word for it: images are faster.

Farewell, cruel world (map).

We removed the world map from the Dashboard because we're finally ready for our geography quiz! Oh, what's that? You didn't know there was a world map on the Dashboard? Yeah, that's why we removed it.

Game, settings, match.

The Settings page is a lot easier to use now. We removed some tabs and a bunch of useless stuff that just got in your way.

Less is more.

We’ve limited the big, blue "other products available" graphic to the last page of products. It was on every page before, and people (including us) were getting sick of looking at it.

  • If you were using PayPal Express Checkout on your website, you may have been getting a "Return URL Invalid" error when a customer tried to buy something from you. That error should be gone now, so you can get back to makin' bank.
  • We fixed an issue whereby clicking through different product pages would return you to the parent category. Now links should take you exactly where you want to go, whether you're one, two, three, or more categories deep.
  • Through some terrible quirk of programming, you were previously able to disable your own user account while you were logged in. We're not sure why that was a thing, but it's not anymore. Now you can disable only other people's accounts—saving yourself from accidental annihilation.
  • Prices used to include tax by default if you had all of that set up, which was causing some confusion. Now taxes are set NOT to be included in every price by default (except for when you're checking out—taxes still show up then). If you want to change it back, you may do so at Store Settings > Settings > Options > Taxes > Display Prices with Tax.
  • Some brand logos weren’t showing up after you used the product-uploader tool because we're bad at naming things. Now that those issues are a distant memory, everything works like a charm. Imagine that.
