Terms of Service

A. THE SERVICE

The Digital Marketplace™ is a website-development service administered by The AAM Group™ that helps brick-and-mortar retailers of automotive aftermarket accessories get found in their local markets. We do this by creating websites using a combination of search-optimized keywords, metatags, product photos, uploaded brands and categories, a mobile-friendly design, and easy-to-find contact information. Simply put, we make Local Websites That Get You Found™.


B. SEARCH RANKING DISCLAIMER

Though Digital Marketplace™ website builders use the most advanced SEO techniques and most current Google guidelines to get our sites ranked highly on Web searches, we cannot guarantee a certain ranking. Rankings often improve over time the longer a site is live, but your ranking will also be influenced by your own online activity, your local market climate, and other factors outside the control of any design agency.


C. THE COST

Thanks to the support of our sponsoring manufacturers, we are able to offer our websites at a cost substantially lower than the average market rate. The one-time setup fee and recurring monthly fee are described below.

1. One-Time Fee

There is a one-time, nonrefundable setup fee of $500.

2. Monthly Fee

We currently have one subscription level of $29.95/month. This fee covers hosting and maintenance, 100 products uploaded 5/year, 3 GB of storage, an à la carte brand uploader, unlimited bandwidth, access to a product-image library, and available shopping cart functionality. Though this fee won't go into effect until 30 days after you sign up, you must schedule the payment before we will begin production of your site. Note that if we begin production, and you do not provide all the requested information in a way that allows us to complete finish all aspects of your site, you will still be charged.

There is no contract, and you can cancel the recurring charge any time you wish. If you do, however, you will no longer receive any ongoing support or features and your website will be turned off.


D. PRODUCTION TIMELINE

From the time we receive all required information (see “Getting Started,” below), we will have a fully functional website with the aforementioned features ready to go live within 15 days.


E. GETTING STARTED

Before we can begin creating your site, we MUST have the following items in hand. When you have everything ready, use our submission form to send us the required information. Contact us here or call (888) 251-4252 if you have questions about any required items, and we'll be happy to help!

1. Your Payment

As described in Section C, a one-time $500 setup fee and enrollment for the $29.95 recurring monthly fee is required before we will begin work on your website. Reminder: the monthly fee will not go into effect until 30 days AFTER you sign up.

2. Your Registered Domain Name

You must provide a registered domain name to attach to your website (e.g., www.supertruckexperts.com). This can be obtained from a service like GoDaddy. The fee for a domain name averages about $15/year. This is NOT paid to us; rather, it is paid to the domain provider you select.

3. Your Digital Store Logo

We can work with standard image formats such as .ai, .eps, .jpg, .gif, .png, and .pdf.

4. Your "About Us" Information

This text tells your business’s story. It can be of any length, but should at least include your store name, some of the products and categories you sell, and other information you think potential customers should know when considering your business. We've provided some sample About Us text for your reference; feel free to use them to write your own.

5. Your Theme Choice

This selection determines the general color scheme and "feel" of your site. We currently have three themes to choose from:

  1. Alloy—gray, bold, textural
  2. Jet—black, dark, grungy
  3. Kilowatt—blue, bright, clean


F. CUSTOM INFORMATION

We can accommodate some special design or functionality requests that differ from our standard template, though these may incur an extra charge, depending on complexity. Some requests will be outside the scope of what we offer. Talk to us about what you have in mind, and we can determine feasibility and estimate cost at that time.
